Bowl of whitish fritware, painted in black and covered with a turquoise-blue glaze. The sides expand widely from a flat base and curve inwards again at the top, the lower part being painted with vertical stripes, and the shoulder with a band of Arabic inscription. Inside on the bottom is a human-headed bird in the midst of foliated stems on a ground of spirals within a circular medallion.

Physical description
Bowl of whitish fritware, painted in black and covered with a turquoise-blue glaze. The sides expand widely from a flat base and curve inwards again at the top, the lower part being painted with vertical stripes, and the shoulder with a band of Arabic inscription. Inside on the bottom is a human-headed bird in the midst of foliated stems on a ground of spirals within a circular medallion.
