Bowl of grey fritware, painted in blue, bluish-green and manganese-purple, outlined in olive-green on a white slip and covered with a clear glaze. Inside on the bottom is a circular medallion divided by interlaced bands into compartments which are filled in with floral ornament. Round the side is a wreath of conventional foliage and on the rim is a border of simulated Arabic characters. The outside is decorated with floral devices in panels.
