The central portion of the elevation is identical with Vanbrugh's `design for Colonel Lambert's house' depicted in another architectural drawing in the Victoria and Albert Museum's Collection. [D.111-1891].

This drawing is part of the Vanbrugh Album from the Library at Elton Hall. The Album contains 254 drawings and includes works by Sir John Vanbrugh, Sir Edward Lovett Pearce, William Talman, Nicholas Hawksmoor, Richard Castle and anonymous draughtsmen in Vanbrugh's office. It was created ca. 1945-54 and was purchased by Victoria and Albert Museum in 1992.

Elevation of a small house with five bays, the outer two projecting further than the central one. The central paired chimney stacks link to form an arch. On the back some rough pen marks, numbers and lettering.
