Physical description

'Shanghai' pattern soup plate, part of a dinner service. Square, cut corner-shaped plate with a dip in the bowl for collecting the last of the meal; decorated in green, yellow and lilac chinoserie, floral pattern on a cream coloured ground with gilt edging.
