Six fragments of a tilework border of yellowish sandstone, glazed, carved and modelled with a countersunk design and covered with a turquoise-blue, bluish-white and manganese-purple enamel colours. With Arabic inscriptions in Naskhy characters in bluish-white on a ground of turquoise-blue interlacing foliated scrolls. Along the sides of some are portions of a purple border.

Brief description
Six fragments of a tilework border of yellowish sandstone, glazed, carved and modelled with a countersunk design and covered with enamel colours, , Bukhara, Uzbekistan, about 1358. From the tomb of Bayan-Quli Khan (d. 1358) at Fathabad.
Physical description
Six fragments of a tilework border of yellowish sandstone, glazed, carved and modelled with a countersunk design and covered with a turquoise-blue, bluish-white and manganese-purple enamel colours. With Arabic inscriptions in Naskhy characters in bluish-white on a ground of turquoise-blue interlacing foliated scrolls. Along the sides of some are portions of a purple border.
