Plate of fritware, with foliated rim, painted in two shades of blue and outlined in black under a clear glaze. Thirteen rock clusters with pagoda, tree, boat and flag dividers decorate the flange and part of the well. The rest of the well is plain. A seven-bracket Kraak frame surrounds the central lake scene which is divided into two. In the lower part two huts with round finials and columns are enclosed by two groups of massive rocks. A three-branch pine tree rises from rocks on the left into the upper part where there are vertical rocks, pagodas and thatched roofs with finials. The outer flange is divided into twelve panels with five small marks forming a cross. Two double leafy blades of grass with crossed leaves as dividers decorate the outer well. Imitation Chinese square mark in black.
