Tile of fritware, shaped like an hour glass with curved ends and straight walls, with triangular projections at the waist. The upper part of the tile is missing and has been replaced by a plaster fill. The rest of the tile has a lustre ground with the decoration moulded and left white in reserve, with some details painted on in lustre with additional spots of turquoise and cobalt blue glaze. The decoration depicts a seated hare surrounded by vegetation, and a small pond in the lower part of the tile, indicated with a cobalt blue outline.
