Bottle of fritware, with globular body and long cylindrical neck with spreading mouth. Painted in underglaze blue and black withpartridges amid floral scrolls on the body, a leafy-scroll band round the shoulder, columns of imitation Chinese shou (longevity) characters round the neck, and a band of undulating line round the mouth.
