Vase of porcelain, with bulbous body, spreading mouth and foot. Painted in yellow, blue, manganese-purple, white and three shades of green with panels in reserve on a ground of chrysanthemum scrolls against dots, which is broken by a narrow band of swastika and plum blossom. The two panels on the upper half are square, the three on the lower quatrefoil-shaped; all contain the furniture of the scholar's table. Plantain leaves round the foot. Under the base an unglazed ring, slightly inset.

Physical description
