Ewer of porcelain, with flattened bulbous body, straight neck, high foot and loop handles; spout broken off. Round the body, decorated with plum blossom and stylised lotus in manganese-purple, two shades of green and white on a yellow ground, with two reserved panels of lotus-petal form, each containing a pot of chrysanthemums. Some of the flowers have been left in the biscuit and were originally gilded. Round the foot, peonies.
