Physical description
Vase of porcelain, club-shaped, painted in green, red, yellow, manganese-purple, blue and black enamels over a crackled celadon-green glaze. Round the body, an emperor playing chess. On the shoulder, trellis diaper with four panels of emblems. On the neck, chrysanthemums, flowering pomegranates and butterflies.
