E.1753-1991
Osiris Visions were partly owned by IT, and funded by UFO. It was managed by Joe Boyd and Danny Halperin, who was art director of Witchseasons Productions. Posters which were originally designed for publicity purposes were now available by mail order from Osiris Visions. Osiris posters were also bought by poster shops. In addition, Osiris acted as an agency through which commissions could be made for posters and record sleeves for other people, for example, promotional posters for The Who. Besides UFO posters, Osiris commissioned posters specifically for sale as decorative posters, in particular those with esoteric messages, providing valuable opportunities for its regular artists.
With some of its profits from the 14 Hour Technicolour Dream event, a distribution company E.C.A.L. Ltd was set up to distribute underground newspapers and posters. This meant it also distributed posters published by Oz magazine, such as the 'Mister Tambourine Man', and bookshops such as the Unicorn Bookshop in Brighton."
