Physical description

Painted design for the lid of a tin box, from a set of 47 including designs for cigarette tins, biscuit tins, and a variety of decorative tins. Each design is in housed an individual sleeve of coloured paper.

Design shows two women in elaborate gowns with two bonnets on the floor at the foreground of the picture, on a backdrop of yellow with branches of pink flowers.
