Physical description

Painted design for the lid of a tin box, from a set of 47 including designs for cigarette tins, biscuit tins, and a variety of decorative tins. Each design is in housed an individual sleeve of coloured paper.

Design shows a scene of a sail boat on a lake with a backdrop of mountains and with trees and a field in the foreground, the scene is boarded with a tortoiseshell pattern and two butterflies.
