Object history
The artist was a pupil of Mustafa Duzgunman (died 1990) who taught the skills of producing pictorial images in the very difficult medium of 'Ebru' or Turkish marbling. The 'sunbul' or wild hyacinth is a favourite image in Turkish decorative art.
