Circular basket of salt-glazed stoneware, painted with enamels, and with a wavy edge, and the sides are pierced with a design of intersecting circles, and on the inside in a band of applied ornament, enamelled in bright colours, consisting of a floral spray alternating with an orange-tree and rising sun, and at the bottom is a Chinese man and woman with two boys in various colours including pink, yellow, green.
