Silver filigree tea caddy with detachable lid, the caddy and the lid with blue glass liners. The silver filigree depicts on the sides of the caddy David Garrick (1717-79) as Macbeth and King Lear, John Beard (ca. 1716-91) as Hawthorn in Bickerstaffe's 'Love in a Village', and Mary Ann Yates (1728-87) as Mandane in Hoole's 'Cyrus'. The lid is engraved on two roundels with Garrick's crest.
