Teacup and saucer, part of a toy tea service of earthenware, covered with a yellow glaze and bat printed in red. On either side of the cup are bat prints depicting, one, a girl kneeling beside a sofa holding up two cherries to a child, the other, a girl sitting in a garden with a basket in her lap. On the saucer is a similar print of a lady kneeling beside a sofa on which a child is seated. The rim of both pieces is painted with a red line.

Physical description
Teacup and saucer, part of a toy tea service of earthenware, covered with a yellow glaze and bat printed in red. On either side of the cup are bat prints depicting, one, a girl kneeling beside a sofa holding up two cherries to a child, the other, a girl sitting in a garden with a basket in her lap.
