This cast bronze medal depicts Marguerite d'Estampes who was married in 1629 to Michel de Beauclerc the Marquis de Mirebeau. He was the Councillor of state, provost and master of the ceremonies to Louis XIII. On the reverse of the medal there is a shield of arms composed of half of the Beauclerc arms and half of the Estampes, ensigned with a coronet.

Obv.: MARGVERITTE. DESTAMPES. Profile bust to right. Rev.: VIRTVS NON PRIMA CORANAT (SIC). A shield of arms, Beauclerc dimidiated with Estampes, ensigned with a coronet.
