Object history
Michael Schmidt's book Waffenruhe [Ceasefire] is a photo-essay documenting the years just prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall. This photograph is reproduced in duotone in Schmidt's book along with the two other panels of 'Tryptichon I' (E.2757-1990 and E.2758-1990).
