Designers looked to the past and the future, drawing inspiration for a new postmodernity. The OMD album references the art of Edward Wadsworth (1889-1949) who used dazzle camouflage patterns on ships in the First World War. As the brightly coloured inner sleeve is moved, the gatefold album becomes a kinetic artwork.(2019)

Object history
The design is partly inspired by the paintings and prints of Edward Wadsworth (1889-1949) which feature the geometric camouflage patterns applied to shipping during the First World War.
