Object history
This design was created for the original production of Kikimora at the Teatro Victoria Eugenia in San Sebastian, Spain, on 25 August 1916. This ballet formed part of Les Contes russes, which contained four miniature ballets on subjects taken from Russian folklore. These included Kikimora, Bova Korolevich, Baba-Yaga and Kolyada-Molyada.
