Mug of salt-glazed stoneware with incised decoration in blue, cylindrical in shape, and the rim and spreading foot are decorated on the wheel with slight mouldings and a narrow border of chevron pattern, and the loop handle is of flattened section, and on the front are the initials and date 'I H' and '1752' within a wreath flanked by two sprays of flowers.
