Caricature of the singer Elizabeth Billington being spoon fed gold coins by William Thomas Lewis, Deputy Manager of Covent Garden while Richard Brinsley Sheridan looks on. British Inscribed in pencil Sheridan. Lettered and inscribed with title, inscribed with captions and Pubd Jany 16th 1802 by S W Fores 50 Piccadilly and Folios of Caracatures lent out for the Evening. Wi th the mark of the collection of S.W. Fores (1761-1838) (Lugt 2384) on the front and Frank A. Gibson (d.1976) on the back.
