This bronze medal was struck to commemorate the sixtieth year of Queen Victoria's reign. The obverse depicts the Queen while the reverse bears the inscription 'GOD BLESS OUR QUEEN'. A female figure holding a wreath in each hand and supporting the two shields bearing the dates 1837 1897 is depicted. The royal arms are also represented together with rose, thistle and shamrock.

Rev: GOD BLESS OUR QUEEN. A female figure holding a wreath in each hand and supporting the two shields bearing the dates 1837 1897. Below the royal arms with rose, thistle and shamrock. Signed SPINK LONDON.
