This bronze medal, bronze was struck to commemorate the sixtieth year of Queen Victoria's reign. The obverse depicts the Queen while the reverse bears the inscription DOMINION OF CANADA THE RT HON THE EARL OF ABERDEEN GOVR GENERAL. There is also a shield of the Royal Arms and another of the arms of the Dominion, surmounted by a crown, below the mongram VRI.

DOMINION OF CANADA THE RT HON THE EARL OF ABERDEEN GOVR GENERAL. A shield of the Royal Arms and another of the arms of the Dominion, surmounted by a crown; below the mongram VRI. Signed SPINK, LONDON.
