Plate of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue and further decorated with heraldry in overglaze polychrome enamels and gilt. The decoration in blue consists of four groups of flowers on the rim and a band of trellis-diaper broken by four panels enclosing flowers round the hollow. To this have been added in colours a European shield of arms with a crest and two palm-branches in the centre and the crest repeated on the rim, on the underside of which are four small floral sprays in blue.
