Incense burner of porcelain, impressed with shou (longevity) characters on a vertical band which forms the widest expansion of the depressed bulbous body; projecting from it on either side is a monster's head moulded in relief. The base rests on three small feet. The neck is slightly contracted, and round the wide mouth is a border of impressed repeating scrolls.
The vessel has a doomed cover of turned wood and a tripod stand of the same material carved in the form of three conjoined fruits of the buffalo horn (trapa bicornis)
