Jar of stoneware, painted in dark brown on white slip. It has an inverted pear-shaped body with wide flat base and short wide neck. A frieze round the middle, between two narrower bands of conventional chrysanthemum flowers and foliage, is occupied by large lotus flowers on scrolled stems relieved against a hatched background.
