Colour full-length portrait of Mr. Holman as Chamont in Otway's tragedy The Orphan. Image accompanied by the following note: 'Engraved by Godfrey, from the original picture, which was painted from life by De Wilde, in the celebrated edition of Bell's British Theatre, which is now publishing, periodically.' Also accompanied by the following passage from the play: 'Corse on thy scandalousage; / which hinders me to rush upon thy throat, / and tear the root up, of that cursed bramble.'
