Physical description

Jar of grey stoneware, with horizontal lines and vertical incisions to facilitate handling, partially covered with a transparent glaze over a white slip. The jar is of nearly cylindrical form with slight contraction below the wide mouth and small foot. The lower part of the body is cut away, so as to leave flour ridges contracting successively downwards.
