Colour full-length portrait of Miss Foote as Maria Darlington in the farce of A Rowland for an Oliver. Portrait accompanied by a few lines from the farce: 'The maze of the walz to the lover has charms: / It animates hope, it prudence disarms. / He sighs - Ah! for ever repose in these arms. / I only reply - la le lal'.
