Vase of porcelain, painted in overglaze enamels in grisaille with figures of the Buddhist monk, Damo (Bodhidharma) crossing the Yangtze river (Chang Jiang) on a reed, and mountainous landscape. The vase has six unequal sides spreading out from the base to the shoulder, which curves inwards to form a narrow neck.
