Child's side chair with a wooden frame and rush seat. The open-framed back has a plain slightly curved top rail and yoke. The back stays are cut in one with the back legs, and are squared in section and splayed at head and foot; the front legs are also squared in section and are splayed at the foot. The four plain stretchers are of wooden dowelling, those at the front and back being slightly raised.
