Print accompanied with the inscription 'Carro del Sole fatto in firenze nella festa a Cauallo per la ventuta del Serenissimo Pri.pe d'Urbino. Era su questo carro Atlante d'altezza di braccia 12 con il globo Solare in Spalla, e sopraui, l'istesso Sole, i dodici Segni del Zodiaco il Serpe d'Egitto, i mesi, le quattro Siagioni, l'Ore del Giorno, e della notte, e a pie del Carro caminauno otto giganti Etiopi d'sei braci d'altezza'; or 'The sun chariot made in Florence on the occasion of the equestrian festival held for the coming of the serene prince of Urbino. On the chariot was Atlas, 12 arms tall, with the sun globe on his shoulder; and above him the Sun itself, the twelve Zodiac signs, the snake of Egypt, the months, the four seasons, the hours of the day and of the night; and at the base of the chariot walked eigh ethiopian giants [6 arms tall].
