Figure, in hard-paste porcelain painted in enamels, of a boy slightly draped, emblematic of Summer, from the Four Seasons; he stands beside a tree stump on a high base with rococo scrollwork in relief on the front; he wears a wreath of corn and slight blue and pink drapery; he carries a sheaf of corn under his left arm, and another sheaf is lying at his feet

From a set of figures emblematic of the four seasons 414:688/ to C-1885 (Sch. I 699 to C)
Lady Charlotte Schreiber bought these four figures from Kerridge, London, for £2 5 shillings in May 1873, from George, London, for £3 17 shillings 6 pence in October 1878, from Kerridge, London, for £2 5 shillings in January 1873, and from Noakes, Worcester, for 2 shillings 6 pence in September 1867
