Pilgrim bottle of whitish-grey fritware, painted in dark olive-green outline and blue on a white slip, and covered with a clear glaze. Flattened-globular body with a central boss on either side, and a spreading four-lobed foot. On both sides is a flowering plant, and on the edge are continuous wavy stems with conventional flowers springing from panels each enclosing a crane amid clouds. The whole decoration is reserved on a blue ground. The neck has been broken off and replaced with one in damascened brass to which two silver chains are attached.
