Physical description

Plate of fritware, with foliated rim, painted in cobalt blue under a clear glaze. A band of stylised flowers and scrolling foliage round the flange. The central medallion is filled with three levels of decoration: at the bottom a flowering tree with a balustrade, in the middle more balustrades, flowers and a niched with reserve-painted rocks, and at the top, tufts of grass and leaves. The outside is decorated with two circular lines enclosing two jewels and two fans both with finials. A mark in blue on the base.
