Dish of porcelain, circular with expanding rim and deep base. On the inside with an underglaze "powdered-blue" ground, pencilled over with gilt decoration of conventional chrysanthemums and stem-scrolls, and decorated in white reserves with underglaze painting in cobalt blue and copper-red. The reserves consist of six circular medallions containing alternately, a lady in a garden, and objects from the "hundred antiquities" (bai gu), surrounding a hexagonal panel painted with flowering plants, rock, bird, and a winged insect.

Physical description
