Jar of off-white fritware, of compressed globular form. With straight neck, covered in a white slip and incised with sgraffiato, and decoration imitating a Chinese blue and white design. With four lozenge shaped compartments enclosing a conventional lotus-flower with scrolled foliage throughout, beneath a lappet band around the shoulder, covered in a clear glaze, now crackled.
