Cup and saucer, of 'eggshell' porcelain painted in overglaze polychrome enamels in the famille rose palette. Both pieces are painted with peonies and other flowers amid scrolled foliage in two shaped panels with a cock in the spaces between them. The inside of the cup is painted with a central rosette and sprays of flowers.
