Wine Pot and Lid

Wine pot and lid, of porcelain painted in overglaze polychrome enamels. Flattened globular body divided by moulded raised bands into geometrical compartments which are painted with various figures, emblems and landscapes in colours. Curved spout of square section and tall loop handle springing from the shoulders on either side of the lid, which is surmounted by a lion.

Physical description
Wine pot and lid, of porcelain painted in overglaze polychrome enamels. Flattened globular body divided by moulded raised bands into geometrical compartments which are painted with various figures, emblems and landscapes in colours. Curved spout of square section and tall loop handle springing from the shoulders on either side of the lid, which is surmounted by a lion.
