Mug of porcelain, transfer-printed and washed over in lilac enamel, and cylindrical in shape with a loop handle, and on one side is a girl on a ladder closing the door of a large bird-coop mounted on stakes beside a stream, and in the background is another girl leaning on the rail of a wooden footbridge, and on the other side is a view of a cottage near a stone bridge over a steam in which two laundresses are washing clothes, and a boy leans blowing bubbles over the rail of the bridge.
