Physical description
Vase of porcelain, transfer-printed in black enamel, and beaker-shaped, and on one side is a print of a milking scene with a boy talking to a girl who is milking a cow, and below it is a smaller print of a woman beside a shed with a cow and calf, and on the reverse side are sprays of flowers.

Object history note
The print was engraved by Robert Hancock, and the subject of the youth talking to a maid who is milking a cow is after an engraving by Luke Sullivan, published in 1759, of 'A View of Woodburn in Surrey'.
