Bowl with lid and stand, of porcelain, painted in overglaze black enamel and gilt. On the stand is the subject of Resurrection, copied from a European engraving. The same subject is repeated on the bowl, the figures being divided into two groups. The bowl curves outwards at the top and has a border of cresting inside. A similar border is painted both round the edge of the lid, which is also decorated with herbage and plants, and round the six-lobed stand.
