This is a figure of Louis XII. of France (1498-1515), carved in oak and enriched with colours and gilding. He wears a hat surmounted by a crown, and a cloak decorated on the outside with fleurs-de-lys in relief, and on the inside with painted ermine spots, round his neck is the collar of the Order of St Michael.
