Beaker-vase, porcelain painted in overglaze enamels in the famille verte palette with two illustrations from the Geng zhi tu (Illustrations of Rice and Silk Cultivation), a series of 45 engravings, with stanzas appended, representing the processes of tilling and weaving, first published in 1210 by Lou Shou. The scenes on the vase represent the ploughing of the paddy field and the rearing of the silkworm.
