Saucer of porcelain, painted with enamels and gilded, in the Japanese style, and fluted with a wavy edge, and the surface inside is divided into four large panels, separated by narrower panels, which radiated from a narrow band with flowers on a wavy stem reserved in white on a ground of underglaze blue, and the narrow panels are decorated with a red chrysanthemum among gilt foliage on a ground of powder-blue, and the large ones enclose alternately chrysanthemum-plants and branches of Prunus-blossoms in various colours and gold, and in the middle of the saucer is a chrysanthemum.
