Kerr and Hon. J. Hay, a lithograph by M. A. J. Whitlay (SD.1014:25) and notes. Half-bound in green morocco. A label with I. D. Temple (Jane Dorothea Temple) is stuck inside the front cover of the album.

Spencer, Travels In Circassia, 2 vols., 1837, Vol.1, Pl.1, of which this is possibly the original drawing by Spencer, or a copy after him, or, more probably, a copy after the coloured lithograph. In Travels it appears as A Circassian Warrior Chief in his Gala Costume drawn by A. L. Molinari from a sketch by Spencer.
