Object history
Fragments of the coloured wares resembling this dish have been found in quantities at Rakka, near kilns east of the town ramparts by M.E. de Lorreey : see C. Vignier -" L'Exposition d'Art Oriental-Notes sur la Céramique Persane" in Revue des Arts Asiatiques" II, 1925, p. 41.
